The House of Compassion is an approachable place where many different activities take place in which compassion with people in a socially vulnerable position is central. Compassion with, for example, homeless people, undocumented foreigners, people living in poverty and people who are socially isolated and/or in need of care. We organize activities for people in a socially vulnerable position, but at the same time also for people who are doing well. It is precisely the encounter between different groups of people that we pursue, as this can lead to understanding for each other and respect. In addition, in the House of Compassion we offer a place to various volunteer groups of people who want to dedicate themselves in one way or another to -and in cooperation with- the groups that need our support and solidarity. We also support initiatives set up by people from our target groups.
